Flex Component Kit for Flash CS3

The Flex Component Kit for Flash CS3 allows you to create interactive, animated content in Flash, and use it in Flex as a Flex component. This is prerelease software.

Download and Installation

The following procedure describes how to download and install the Flex Component Kit.

  1. Make sure Adobe Flash CS3 is installed as well as the Adobe Extension Manager 1.8
  2. Download and unzip the documentation ZIP file.
  3. Download the Flex Component Kit extension for Flash CS3.
  4. Double-click the downloaded .mxp file and follow the instructions in the Extension Manager.

How Do I Find Out More?

The documentation for the Flex Component Kit for Flash CS3 contains a PDF file that describes how to use the kit to build Flex components in Flash CS3, and the API reference for the UIMovieClip class.
