E41ST:RIA App of the week
Posted on | February 2, 2008 |
Well as I promised here is the winner of this week, sorry I changed my mind of keeping “RIA App of the Day” to “RIA App of the Week” as it takes potential time to judge someone’s performance and reliability. Also I do not rank any one who has already been over hyped by the industry to called myself biased. I still say Coghead was the winner last week and this week E41ST acquired the hat.
The name is taken from New york’s public library street name.
E 41ST developed by Amit Gupta is a RIA app integrated with amazon web API and provides a nice rich interface of amazon as an interactive library.
E41ST is an attempt at making a corner of the web look the way I like to see it! Named after New York’s East 41st Street (Library Way), it provides an integrated interface for Browsing(at Amazon)-and-Looking-up(at Library).
The user experiance was extremely friendly and intutive as there was very simple steps to get your desired stuffs

The reading experiance is also excited me as there was a lot of space for content and rendering was awesome

Thanks to Amit for the fabulous application which I will be using in my daily practice from now onwards.
And last but not the least this is again a beautiful example of Adobe Flex App… so hats off to Adobe guys for giving us the power to innovate ![]()
