Pune Flex User Group Meet at Netscout Systems
Posted on | June 8, 2008 |
Hi Guys,
Its a very special moment for me to describe the enthusiasm of Pune User Group who managed to be at the meet despite of having rain.
My warm regards to Netscout Systems administration and special thanks to Priyank Kapadia. He is perhaps the most proactive member of our community. Always filled with ideas and initiative offers.
Those who missed the event, an update, there were the perfect blend of Developer/Designers in the meet and YES! it was an interactive session.
After the ice breaking session with little intro, Aasim gave a fabulous insight on Adobe Flex Developer Certification exam preparation. He was gracefully accepted by the audience. The session ended with a nice debate on “Why do we do certification?” which Yash and I concluded.

After Aasim it was me who gave an overview on Design Patterns and Cairngorm Microarchitecture, which went really well. Thanks again to the nice participants. One of the best thing happen this time was everybody was interactive and they were sharing their thoughts and demanding something for their taste.
I remember queries from Megha and Rajesh which were targeting “Flex from a Designer Perspective”. The debate went really long as everybody was totally involved putting their views wether it was Yash, Priyank, Uday or Aasim. All were having something to share.

I loved the way the new members were excited and wanted to contribute.
Guys I must say if this is the beginning there is a lot more to come in next …..

This would soon gear up and Flex guys in Pune would see the benefits of attaending regular meets. This gives a sense of belonging to a group, which is not based on any formal bonding but on the love for something which equally has ocupied the heart and mind of all attenders.
Thanks to Anand, Priyank, Aasim and all members.

Guys,
Yesterday I got a mail from John Koch,Public Relation Manager,Adobe, and he was really very happy knowing the development of our FUG.
He wanted to know more about our needs and the contribution needed by Adobe.
So lets discuss this in coming FUG’s.
