Adobe Flash rocked in Golden Globe Awards
Posted on | January 14, 2009 |
Israeli director Ari Folman used the Adobe Flash to make Waltz With Bashir, an animated film which explores traumatic memories of his experience as a teenage soldier in the 1982 Lebanon War. The film won the Best Foreign Film award and was cheered in all ways. This movie also won best picture from the National Society of Film Critics. Movie based on the story of a young soldier’s traumatic memories of his experience as a teenage soldier in the 1982 Lebanon War.
Now if we have to say about the budget then it cost only $2 million to make in place of whooping millions.
Adobe Flash has changed the perception to see the animation industry and the golden days are yet to come when we can have highend animated films fetured on Adobe Flash platform.
Way to go Adobe
3 cheers for Adobe Flash ….. hip hip hurray …

I think that this is really awesome. But one thing that strikes me is that regardless of the total coolness factor of the animation side of things, if you put even “decent” animation with a good plot, and a really killer soundtrack, you can have a very good chance of making people look twice. Music, sound and audioFX are so very important to making this all work right. This is a great example at how minimal animation was so enhanced by the great audio and music behind it.
Turn down your speakers and watch it and you’ll see it just doesn’t have the same impact.
