Becoming an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE): Preparing and passing Adobe Certified Flex Developer exam

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

Adobe Certified ExpertLast week in FUG meet when we were having discussions on Adobe Certification, I came to know about various queries that might occur in a developer’s mind before going for a costly exam, for becoming an Adobe Certified Expert. I changed my long time awaited article to cover up the queries and I hope this will be a nice heads up for the certification aspirants.

The intention while writing this article is to generate awareness about Adobe Flex Certification and to clear myths, which are buzzing around the developer forums. My intention is not to provide an answer sheet, which may pass you the exam, but to give you a way, which directly reaches, to your success i.e. Adobe Certified Flex 2 Developer.

A surprise gift from Raghunath Rao, Tech Evangelist,Adobe

Tuesday, June 10th, 2008

ActionScript 3 Design PatternsA surprise delivery arrived today at my office. A small packet having Adobe logo on it. I was very curious about it and I filled with joy when I saw Raghu’s name on it. I cleared the courier formalities and quickly grabbed the packet and popped it to open. I filled with joy and almost screamed when I saw something which was like a my most awaited gift. I saw “ActionScript 3.0 Design Patterns” book with a really cool happy note written by Raghu, (hmmm Techies sheldom write something :) ).

It was a pretty nice gift by Raghu on clearing my Adobe Certification and that is why it is very special to me. Raghu has always been very supportive to me and once again I do not want to miss the opportunity to say thanks to him and the Adobe team.

Thanks again.
